Nicholas Sheran Leisure Centre

The Nicholas Sheran Leisure Centre was constructed on the West Side of Lethbridge in 1982 and it includes a swimming pool and one sheet of ice. The Gyro Spray Park is located behind the Leisure Centre. The pool is rectangular in shape, 25 meters long with two slides and a rope. There is also a wading pool, hot tub, sauna and fitness area equipped with appropriate equipment. The emphasis in this facility is on a total family leisure concept and it caters mostly to the young.

Special Olympics Alberta’s mission is to enrich the lives of Albertans with an intellectual disability through sport. The vision is to provide individuals with an intellectual disability, of all ages and abilities, opportunity to realize their full athletic potential, with appropriate training, coaching and competitions, to develop life skills, a healthy body and self esteem.. Special Olympics Lethbridge provides this through the various sports programs we offer: 5-Pin Bowling; 10-Pin Bowling; Basketball, Bocce, Curling, Figure Skating, Floor Hockey, Golf, Powerlifting, Rythmic Gymnastics,Softball, Swimming, and Walking.

Lethbridge Skating Club

The Lethbridge Skating Club offers skating lesson programs for ages 3 to adult throughout the year at three different arena locations in the City. All levels of skating are welcome from beginner to competitive figure skater. Offering a sense of community connecting coaches and ice-skating enthusiasts in Lethbridge since 1939.

Henderson Arena

Henderson Ice Centre is the home of Lethbridge Athletic Association Hockey (LAA). It operates from the beginning of September to the beginning of April and, at times, during the summer months. Henderson Ice Centre has 2 ice surfaces, a larger ice surface designed for all users and a small ice surface designed for those aged 10 and under.
