Recreation and Culture provides opportunities that contribute to the personal well being and quality of life for citizens of our community. This is achieved by direct service through providing and operating facilities plus indirect service through the development of partnership agreements with community organizations who deliver programs or operate services.
City of Lethbridge Fee Assistance Program
The City of Lethbridge offers a Fee Assistance program that will pay up to $150 in the first half of the year, and $150 in the second half of the year, to any individual who can prove city residency and low income status, for recreational, sport, arts and cultural opportunities. This includes memberships for facilities as well.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart helps kids between the ages of 4 to 18 by assisting with the costs associated with registration, equipment and/or transportation for sports and physical activity programming. Now you can apply online by clicking APPLY at the top of the Jumpstart website.

KidSport Alberta
We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playorganized sport.

Lethbridge Boys & Girls Club
The Boys & Girls Club of Lethbridge & District is one of more than 100 clubs of its kind in Canada. We have been serving Lethbridge and the local community since 1987. We are fortunate to have our own facility to operate from and we are located at 1405 8th Avenue North, just south of the Adams Ice Centre. We are open from 7:00am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday. We provide before and after school programs for children 5-12 years of age at our North Facility and a Kinder Club program for kindergarten aged children at our Agnes Davidson School location.
Lethbridge College - Be Fit for Life Centre
We are an on-campus fitness resource centre that provides fitness services, programs, information and activities designed to encourage and support a healthy lifestyle. Our Centre is the leader in Southwestern Alberta where we ignite the passion from within the community to live an active and healthy lifestyle. We are one of nine Centres within the Be Fit for Life Network and are funded by Alberta Community Development via the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation and the Lethbridge College. Our network enables Albertans to be phsycially active where they live, work and play.
