Parents, caregivers, grandparents, and those whose work involves children - must attend event!

Play charter

On Tuesday Jan 21st, the Lethbridge Plays committee will be holding their first Play Summit at the Main Branch of the Lethbridge Public Library, featuring speakers from the region as well as a researcher from the UofA.  There are 3 sessions and you can go to one, two, or all 3 but sign up is required for the paid ones (lunch $15, includes lunch; afternoon $20; evening free) and encouraged for the evening free one so that proper set up can take place.

Registration can be done at .

This will be a great opportunity to learn about the worldwide movement of Play Charters and play towards the "old fashioned" play and the benefits it has on children and society.  Everyone is welcome!!

If your work includes any work with children, this is a great affordable professional development opportunity.  Parents, grandparents, daycare/dayhome operators, students, community members - everyone is welcome!
