Free Cycling Events for Everyone

Mark your calendars for these free community events:

1. Bike In Film Night in the Park - Monday August 29th from 7 - 9:30 p.m. at Galt Gardens.  Bring your family and friends (by bike!) to this outdoor movie night in the park.  Relax and enjoy free popcorn and drinks while watching great cycling stories come to life on the big screen!  We may drop a few Pokemon Go lures during the event, too!  Partially funded by the Heart of Our City grant.

 

2.  Noon Hour Bike Concert Series - Watch for roaming musicians performing on a pedicab (bicycle rickshaw) over the lunch hour. Follow along on your bike or catch tunes as they cycle by.  Monday August 29th - Wednesday August 31st,  12-1 pm in the downtown core.  Partially funded by the Heart of Our City grant.

 

3. Crossings Shopping Centre Family Cycling Day - Tuesday August 30th from 3-7 pm at Crossings Shopping Centre (Whoop Up Drive at Aquitania Blvd W) - meet pro riders, take photos, get autographs, win prizes, and participate in the bike scavenger hut and acitivites and rodeo!
